The Rainmen’s Land (Polish language)

“The Rainmen’s Land”[Kraina Deszczowców] presented by Tomasz Dziedzic & Maciej Tomczyk was the first ever Polish-language FM Radio broadcast in Scotland. The show started to broadcast in August 2007 and joined Pulse in November 2010.

“We play and speak in Polish” - this is the main motto of the broadcast. We want all our listeners to have the influence on the character, style and nature of both shows. We also hope to attract Scottish listeners and introduce them to the repertoire of the Polish music scene. That is why we present Polish performers singing in English during every broadcast. We are also trying to mix in a few sentences in English especially for the Scottish listeners.

Apart from the Polish music, there is also a calendar of the most important cultural events in Glasgow and the rest of Scotland, reviews of the Polish portals and magazines including interviews with interesting people and comments on the events of the passing week.

Tune in every Monday between 7pm and 9pm for two Polish shows – The Rainmen’s Land (from 7pm) and Hop on The Top Chart Show (from 8pm).

Both Shows are also accessible on the Internet on polish website www.szkocja.fm
