On the road

Pulse volunteers were delighted to take part in a couple of recent community events. At ‘The Edge’ in Newton Mearns, we helped the Big Shouter youth group with their health information extravaganza, where a great time was had by all. Rumours of an appearance by Paulo Nuttini turned out to be unfounded, but the organisers were said to be thrilled by the next best thing - a personal appearance from Funky Dunky of the Magazine Show.

Our musical eco-warrior community support team (MEWCST) was on hand the following day to assist with the proceedings at the ‘Going Greener’ event at Carmichael Hall in Giifnock.

Watch out for the Pulse crew at various community events throughout East Renfrewshire over the spring and summer months. This picture sums up everything you need to know about a Pulse Roadshow: young presenters, beauty queens, someone dressed as a pineapple and a giant scary alien cigarette from the planet Toe-Bak-O. Don’t miss the next one!
