Please vote for Pulse
The RBS Community Force project kindly donates significant sums of money to community projects. These can range from £1,000 to £6,000. The winning projects are decided by public vote. Pulse is one of the nominated projects and we’d really appreciate it if you could help us by voting on the RBS site.
Here’s how you can help us:
Log on to RBS community force, using this link and vote for us. It will take a few minutes as you need to register first. It’s very simple to do. http://communityforce.rbs.co.uk/project/240
Please pass this message to all of your friends and colleagues at work, school, college, relatives, Facebook chums etc. We are up against some stiff competition and need all the votes we can get.
The voting runs until 23rd October and we’ll keep you up to date on how we are doing over the next ten days. Pulse is run completely by volunteers and on a very tight budget. Your vote may make a massive difference to us!
Many, many thanks from all Pulse Community Radio.
Jeff Jarrett Makes An Impact
American Wrestling superstar Jeff Jarrett recently graced the airwaves of Pulse 98.4 in an exclusive interview with our very own Chris Duke. This is the second “big-named” wrestling interview for Chris with TNA’s Jeremy Borash being the first a few weeks ago. It was hinted that although Impact Wrestling will not make a stop in Glasgow on their UK tour, they are in the midst of providing Scottish
fans with something special. Jarrett has been involved in an ongoing twitter-feud with Comedian and ‘Still Game’ actor Greg Hemphill. This started on Jarrett’s last visit to Glasgow which seen him in the ring with our very own ‘Lionheart’ with Hemphill as the special guest referee.
“There is one reason I will not return to Glasgow, and that is Greg, if you see him in the street, slap the taste out of his mouth and tell him, ‘That’s from the King of the Mountain’” says Jarrett.
“The only reason you won’t come back to Glasgow is that you’re afraid to face ‘Lionheart’ again” says Hemphill.
Time will tell if there will be a resolution.
Chris hopes to have more massive names from the world of Pro Wrestling very soon so stay tuned to Pulse.
