Biog:
Lending a naïve yet mature (cheesy perhaps) slant to radio presenting, which encompasses an ever widening range of musical tastes; Andy's show is a magazine style mix of music, news, interviews and trivia. In-between his assaults on the airwaves, Andy is known as a musician/writer/performer in the acclaimed solo acoustic style, also playing with several musical combos - usually as a percussionist, but occasionally thrust up front for the odd song or two; notably with - The Anvil Divers, Kazoo and local band, The Skunnered. Andy plays host at some very popular open-mic music nites in and around Paisley and is an avid attendee at other similar events. He sometimes does a bit of acting; is a keen observer of the birds in his garden and regularly reports on the flight-path of the somewhat larger, lesser spotted International Space Station.
